Grammy nominated artist Masego released his single “You Never Visit Me”, in December of 2022, sparking even more excitement after his 2023 “You Never Visit Me” tour announcement. Performing his first show from the North American Tour on March 13th in Santa Ana, California, he played venues across the continent, covering major cities like San Francisco, Denver, Chicago, New York, and Miami before heading to and conquering the House of Blues in Dallas with talented opener Ogi.
The sold out show was packed front to back, fans screaming as he walked on stage with confidence. Performing r&b hits like “Navajo”, “Mystery Lady” with Don Toliver, and the single that put his name on the map, “Tadow”, his energy took over the room and had the audience mesmerized by the impressive setlist. The singer-songwriter switched back and forth between singing his heart out on the mic and playing the saxophone, which he incorporates into a wide range of his music.
Masego’s roots have always been in music, blossoming once he got to college and began to use his voice to create. Eventually he titled the music he makes as “TrapHouseJazz”, a bright combination of genres that he brings to life.
Although he only has a few dates left on his tour, the memories and experience he gave to his fans is something special they won’t be forgetting!
